Sanskrit language

I came across an interesting article published in 1985 in the Artificial Intelligence magazine of Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AAAI).

This article titled "Knowledge Representation in Sanskrit and Artificial Intelligence" by Rick Briggs, from Ames Research Center, NASA talks about
Sanskrit as a language and its suitability for representation of information that is amenable to processing on computer. The essence of the article that the authors wishes to convey is that Sanskrit has a mean deviation of zero from a language ideal for information processing!

On the contrary, Sanskrit seems to be on a decline in India. There are organizations like Samskrita Bharati, India - whose mission is "to promote the study and knowledge of Samskrit [Sanskrit in english] by diverse means and to make the learning of Samskrit easy and accessible to the masses".

What solutions would you suggest to increase the popularity of our ancient Indian language?
