Finding Oneself

Image
I love watching 'Finding Nemo'.! It has the right mix of comedy, thriller and emotions. It is a riot every time Dora forgets nemo's name. Or even to see the carefree attitude of the 150 year old tortoise parenting his kid.. However, it does leave you in tears towards the end - the time when Marlin leaves Dora or when you just thought Nemo died rescuing 'Aunt Dora'. I like the message it conveys about relationships, in a very subtle yet

A Beautiful Mind

Image
I love to watch Ron Howard's "A Beautiful Mind" time and again. Every time, it inspires me to strive harder for my 'original idea'. To see a man of such caliber struggle to make himself count, makes me wonder "We have everything right in our lives, yet what have we accomplished with it?".

Movie Review - Lucia

SOT starts by posing to the audience the titular thought experiment "Theseus' ship paradox". This is to do with the question of identity

Movie review - 'Stanley ka Dabba'

Image
I recently watched the movie 'Stanley ka Dabba' (SKD) and here is my review of the movie. In short, SKD is a finely made film highlighting an important social issue and the movie succeeds in doing just that and it does smartly as well. This aspect is very important in a country like ours where pertinent issues like corruption, policy reforms are high jacked in a jiffy by things like IPL or 'Shiela ki jawani' song.

Tweet for the sparrow

Image
Ever wondered where have those little sparrows that warble outside your home gone? The once ubiquitous House Sparrows (Passer Domesticus) are now rarely seen in the cities. However, they are still a part of the pleasant rustic residence. I was lucky to spot a bunch of them but in a hill station (not in the city). Here are couple of my pics..
